Do I believe CEASEFIRE is a great program, No! However, I do view it as a good program.... Yes I've been frustrated with CEASEFIRE's approach and method of operation; nevertheless, I give them credit for trying. I disagree with Tio Hardiman (CEASEFIRE Illinois Director) claims of street gangs not having a leader on the streets to direct them. That's like saying its impossible to stop gang violence because we're dealing with guerrilla style warriors, which in turn and by definition makes them urban terrorists.
