Many have asked me why do I support a Jew for Mayor of Chicago instead of the Black Consensus Candidate? I sit back and laugh at those words, because when I was a young Black lad with rock cocaine in my pockets, running with other young Black lads in the projects I don't remember seeing NO "Black Savior" enter my complex reaching out to a generation of fatherless young Black lads destined to be hooked on the crack we sold, or six feet deep like our gang chiefs!
I recall a successful Black Man telling me "You're my color, but not my kind" at the time I didn't fully know what he meant, but as time went on I surly found out..... My Friends I grew up in the projects sandwiched between Little Village and Pilsen (Mexicans and Puerto Ricans) therefore I have a deep honor and respect for diversity.....
....So is the Black community going to STARVE and DIE if we don't elect a Black Mayor? I seriously doubt it! I've been through HELL and witnessed things that haunts me to this very day. Make no mistake about it I don't respect cynicism, but I do understand the social, educational, and political game we play on each other relative to using RACE to advance our personal agendas fully knowing because of my social past you and I have NOTHING in common but skin color. It use to be the "Black Elite" was an invisible group only seen by its members, but times have changed.... The "Black Lower Class" thanks to books, and the world wide web now knows that the "Black Elite" has been running game on them for decades.....
Vote Or Die? Not in America! I survived over 10 years in the projects on welfare, selling crack, gang affiliated, so why should I believe in the false notion of VOTE OR DIE? When Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton were President I was in the projects and guess what their policies had no effect on my living conditions, nor did the Mayor of Chicago! Crack was sold, homies was killed, buddies went to jail, and some how I escaped the grip's of DEATH!
My VOTE has no color! My life is dedicated to working with ALL to STOP THE VIOLENCE, SAVE THE CHILDREN by any means necessary! Tha Movement is about recreational, social, mental, spiritual, educational, economical, political, and racial progress!
