If you google 5 links scam u can read all the listing in ripoff report.com.
this dude I know did 5 links,,, u make .003 per every transaction off the readers. so the goal is to get people to start using the 5 links reader. U spend all your time trying to get stores to switch to your machine, which is not easy because they get people coming by weekly trying to do the same dam thing!! Then 5 links tries to get you to get other people to sell the machines. Then, u get a cut of their .003 of a cent commission.. It is a high tech ponzi scheme.. as are most multi level marketing schemes. The reason the feds have not shut them down is they do provide a service, unlike a true ponzi scheme where there is no inherent value.. A smart store owner would just buy their own credit card reader and not lease one from 5 links... oh and here is a good one,,, they also do direct tv signups. but it would be cheaper to call the 800 number for direct tv than signing up from a 5 links dude.
