All I can say is that I have personally met all three men, and one in particular saved me from prison and the streets. I have not lived in Chicago for over 20 years, but when I did I was shot a total of 7 times, and on a war path. All I can say is that I was given advice and instructions, and I moved to the West coast and got an education. I grew up respecting and honoring these individuals, so their word meant a great deal to me. The problem is these days, these guys do not honor anyone. It reminds me of the Episode of the Boondocks, when they did a skit on "What if Dr. king had survived", He would be disgusted and horrified by the state that our people are in in America. As far as people talking about , who has street credibility, and who doesn't, Ask your selves this, What are you doing, to help? I can go for days and mention names of dead men who are no longer with us to vouch for me. In their honor and memory I help to mentor at risk youths and help keep them out of the judicial system. I teach cooking and nutrition classes to low income families. Me and my 17 year old daughter( who I have been raising on my own) go out and feed 20 homeless people hot gourmet meals for free, every Sunday. My daughter helps to counsel other teens who are affected by gangs and drugs, in conjunction with the City . I do not care about if some one has street creds, as long as they are trying to help solve the problem. I am wrapping up my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Science, and I am about to start Law School. If I came back home to help, would my street creds be called into question? Who are these people that can call these things out? What are you doing to help? besides hide. Check my name because I am one hundred percent legit.
